Despite losing efforts, Gina Carano and Renato “Babalu” Sobral were the big winners financially during “Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg“.
The event took place Saturday evening from the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California and aired live on Showtime.

Carano wound up taking home a cool $125,00 for her loss to Cyborg, while Babalu netted an impressive $75,000 for his dismantling at the hands of Gegard Mousasi (who was shockingly only compensated to the tune of a disclosed $2,000).
Others on the card that were able to bring home hefty paydays totalling $50,000 or more were Gilbert Melendez, Fabricio Werdum and Jay Hieron.
