Referee, judging assignments set for UFC 182's Jones vs. Cormier title fight

The referee and judging assignments are set for next month’s heavily anticipated UFC 182 headliner.

Veteran official Herb Dean, who’s overseen some of the sport’s biggest fights in recent years, will ref the headliner between UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones (20-1 MMA, 14-1 UFC) and challenger Daniel Cormier (15-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC)

UFC 182 takes place Jan. 3 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.

The title fight, which is undoubtedly one of the biggest in company history, will be judged by veteran officials Marcos Rosales, Cardo Urso and Tony Weeks.

All of the fight-night officials were determined at today’s Nevada State Athletic Commission hearing in Las Vegas.
