RFA 46 highlights: Festive commentators, 'Big Swinging' Johnson, neck brace and RFA's final event

RFA – one of the most prominent regional promotions in recent MMA history – said goodbye on Friday with its final event.

With commentators Michael Schiavello and Pat Miletich donning their festive apparel ahead of the holidays, RFA 46 aired on AXS TV from Branson Convention Center in Branson, Mo. It was the final RFA show before the organization’s merger with Legacy FC and the launch of LFA next month.

In the main event, Jordan Johnson (6-0) – also known as “Big Swinging” – claimed the vacant light-heavyweight belt with a dominant unanimous-decision win over LeMarcus Tucker (5-2).

Also on the card, heavyweight Kenny Fredenburg (8-4) picked up a win – and a post-fight neck brace – in his fight with Don'Tale Mayes (2-1), which ended via disqualification. Additionally, Jeremiah Cullum (4-1) tapped out flyweight David Waters (3-3) via 78-second choke.
