RFA 14 main card set with addition of Jouban-Montoya, Aguiar-Toner

The main card for RFA’s next event is complete with a title fight and a pair of title-eliminators.

In addition, promotion officials recently confirmed two new bouts to MMAjunkie.

RFA 14 takes place April 11 at the City of Cheyenne Ice and Events Center in Wyoming and marks the organization’s debut in the state. The main card airs live on AXS TV.

In the headliner, Wyoming’s Matt Manzanares (6-2) meets Leandro Higo for the organization’s vacant flyweight title. In the co-headliner, Mark Dickman (8-1) meets Raoni Barcelos in a featherweight title eliminator.

Also on the card, Tyler Voth (5-1) meets Jeimeson Saudino (8-2) in a flyweight title eliminator, and Jocelyn Lybarger (2-1) takes on Rosa Acevedo (1-0) in a 120-pound catchweight affair.

The main card also now will see a welterweight bout between Alan Jouban (7-2) and Armando Montoya Jr. (8-3), plus a featherweight tilt featuring Tyler Toner (15-6-1) vs. Daniel Aguiar (9-3). On the prelims, Scott Ingram (1-0) takes on Joshua Smith (0-0).

Jouban returns after an October loss to Mike Rhodes, who went on to sign with the UFC. That setback snapped a six-fight winning streak for the Californian. Montoya will be looking to get back on track, as well, after a loss to Tyler Stinson this past October that snapped a six-fight streak.

Toner, a WEC and UFC veteran, returns to the promotion after a decision loss in November to Raoni Barcelos. The Colorado native has won two of his past three fights. Aguiar, from Brazil, is a Black House MMA fighter and will be making his promotional debut. All nine of his wins are by submission, including a pair in 2013.
