As part of the main live card, one of RFA’s top undefeated featherweight prospects will be in action. Tommy “Gun” Thompson (5-0) returns to the RFA after his convincing 20-second KO of Joey Banks at RFA 7. This was a stunning finish that even hit the ESPN.com highlight reel. He will put his perfect record on the line as he takes a big step up in competition against Tyler “Thunder” Toner (14-5) who is one of Denver’s most experienced featherweight fighters. Toner has competed for UFC, WEC, and Strikeforce and intends to reassert himself as one of the sport’s top 145-pounders.

Also in featherweight action, fight fans will get a classic ‘Karate vs. Kung Fu’ themed MMA fight as Chinzô Machida (1-2) battles Brian “Seraiah” Wood (4-3). Chinzô is the older brother of UFC star Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida, while Seraiah is the founder of Dragon Tao in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This will be Chinzô’s American-soil MMA debut as well as his debut in the featherweight division. Seraiah is very well-known locally being a multiple-time veteran of the Ring Of Fire organization as well as a former standout NCAA Division I wrestler at the University of Wyoming.

Also on the RFA 11 live card is an exciting striker vs. striker middleweight bout between Vinnie Lopez (6-5) and Lucas Rota (7-5). The aggressive and talented Lopez is a longtime friend and training partner of Brandon Thatch who possesses an aggressive and fearless fighting-style that has endeared him to the Denver fight fans. He will be facing Rota, who similarly likes to intimidate and overwhelm his opponents with his impressive striking prowess. A training partner of Anderson Silva, Rota will be the third Brazilian fighter making his American-soil debut on this card.

Kicking off the first televised fight of the night will be Danny Mainus (2-1), who made a big impression with Denver fans in March with his back-and-forth fight with Zac Chavez at RFA 7. Mainus and Chavez engaged in a toe-to-toe battle, which was considered one of the most competitive and exciting fights in RFA history. A clip from this fight was later shown on NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon”. Mainus will be taking on Scott Ingram (0-0) who seeks victory and a lasting first impression in his professional debut in front of his hometown fans.

In the evening’s previously announced main event, fight fans are treated to a high-stakes flyweight title fight between the red-hot fan favorite Matt Manzanares (7-1) and former world champion Zach “Fun Size” Makovsky (15-4). The RFA 11 co-headliner will see four-time UFC veteran Alvin Robinson (14-7) fight in front of his home crowd against blue chip prospect Raoni Barcelos (7-0), who is a highly-decorated jiu-jitsu practitioner (multiple-time IBJJF world champion), freestyle wrestler (member of the Brazilian national wrestling team), and MMA fighter (Shooto – Brazil featherweight champion).

The entire main card of RFA 11 – Manzanares vs. Makovsky will be televised live on AXS TV starting at 10:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. PT on Friday, November 22nd. RFA 11 will be the promotion’s second event in the state of Colorado this year. More fights for RFA 11 will be announced soon.
