It will be wrestler vs. jiu-jitsu specialist in Toronto when Nik Lentz faces Mark Bocek on the upcoming UFC 140 card headed to Canada in December.
Sources close to the match-up confirmed the new bout to MMAWeekly.com on Tuesday. The Canadian Press first reported the fight.
Nik Lentz has to be one of the most underrated undefeated fighters on the UFC roster to date. With seven fights thus far in the Octagon, Lentz still has yet to taste defeat although has had one fight end in a draw and another turned into a no contest.
Still, Lentz maintains his unblemished Octagon status when he takes his next fight in Toronto where he will face American Top Team jiu-jitsu ace Mark Bocek.
It will be a return to Toronto for Bocek who also fought there earlier this year, losing a close decision to former WEC champion Ben Henderson.
Bocek has gone 3-2 in his last five fights, but his two losses to Henderson and the other to Jim Miller were both extremely close contests, and some even scored those bouts in the Canadian’s favor.
Bocek will look to erase the memory of his last trip to Toronto when he faces Lentz on the UFC 140 card, set for Dec 10 in his home country of Canada.
