Nevada Athletic Commission: All Fighters Test Clean at UFC 155

The Nevada Athletic Commission announced on Friday that all 24 fighters who competed at UFC 155 tested negative for banned substances.

NAC Executive Director Keith Kizer informed Sherdog.com of the test results via email. Nevada tests fighters for both performance enhancing drugs and drugs of abuse. UFC 155 took place Dec. 29 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and was headlined by a heavyweight title rematch between Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez.

Velasquez regained the heavyweight title with a dominant five-round decision over dos Santos in the evening’s main event, avenging an earlier loss to “Cigano” at UFC on Fox 1. In the co-main event, Jim Miller took an entertaining unanimous decision over Joe Lauzon in a bloody, back-and-forth lightweight affair.
