Maximo Blanco meets Akira Corassani at TUF 18 Finale in Las Vegas

The UFC’s Season 18 live finale card for “The Ultimate Fighter” continues to grow with the addition of a featherweight bout.

Maximo Blanco (9-4-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) will meet Akira Corassani (11-3 MMA, 2-0 UFC) on the card in late November. Blanco’s management team announced the fight booking on Saturday.

The TUF 18 Finale takes place Nov. 30 at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The bulk of the card will air on FOX Sports 1 following prelims expected to stream on Facebook. The main event is a flyweight title fight between champion Demetrious Johnson and former title challenger Joseph Benavidez. In addition, the women’s and men’s bantamweight winners of “The Ultimate Fighter” will be crowned.

Blanco picked up his first UFC win in April at the TUF 17 Finale when he beat Sam Sicilia by unanimous decision. That was his first fight in nearly a year after losing a split decision to Marcus Brimage in his UFC debut, which also served as his first fight at featherweight. Prior to the loss to Brimage, he was submitted by Pat Healy in his lone Strikeforce appearance.

Corassani, a veteran of Season 14 of “TUF,” goes after his third straight win in the UFC. His back-to-back wins both have come since his appearance on the reality series, and since his drop from lightweight to featherweight. A year ago this weekend, he took a split decision from Andy Ogle in his official UFC debut in Nottingham, England. And in April, in his native Sweden, he beat Robbie Peralta.

• TBA vs. TBA – “TUF 18? women’s tournament final
• Nate Diaz vs. Gray Maynard
• Walter Harris vs. Jared Rosholt
• Maximo Blanco vs. Akira Corassani
