Justine Kish's unanimous-decision defeat to Felice Herrig at UFC Fight Night 112 will perhaps best be remembered for her defecating on the canvas, but Kish has taken the incident in stride and laughed about it on Twitter.
The strawweight shrugged off the accident as she pledged to return to the Octagon (warning, contains NSFW language):
Justine Kish @JustineKishI am a warrior, and I will never quit #ShitHappens haha be back soon.

Kish appeared to let loose whilst escaping a rear-naked choke in the third round, per Patrick Redford of Deadspin.
Fellow UFC fighters Chas Skelly and Tatiana Suarez tweeted their support of Kish (warning, contains NSFW language):
Chas Skelly @ChasSkelly@JustineKish @BestFightPicks ?????? you are awesome for posting this!

The contest ultimately went the distance with all three judges scoring in Herrig's favour as she dominated the fight with her outstanding takedown technique and relentless attempts to force a submission.
To Kish's credit, she did not relinquish her undefeated record easily as she refused to bow out, her escape from the third-round choke attempt being particularly impressive.
However, according to UFC referee John McCarthy, had the faeces been discovered on the mat during the fight, it would have been stopped with Herrig awarded a technical knockout victory:
Big John McCarthy @JohnMcCarthyMMAThe fight's over. You cannot expect a fighter to compete with someone who has fecal matter on them. There is no timeout or cleanup #AskBJM https://t.co/UD7A6I6P9G

Big John McCarthy @JohnMcCarthyMMAIt is scored as a TKO loss for the fighter who loses control of their bladder or bowels #AskBJM https://t.co/Ns5oDR4JGF

Kish is not the first fighter to lose control of her bowels whilst being choked. MMA fighter Travis Wolford was caught short in a heavyweight cage fight with Daniel Cooper in 2014.
The 29-year-old is clearly not taking the incident to heart, though, and she's evidently already got her eye on coming back from the first defeat of her career.
