Julie Kedzie Off Strikeforce Challengers Card Due to Injury; Replacement Search Underway

Almost as fast as the bout got made a change has happened as Julie Kedzie has been forced out of her upcoming bout at Strikeforce Challengers due to injury.

Kedzie was expected to face Germaine De Randamie as part of the Strikeforce Challengers card coming up on Sept 23 in Las Vegas.

Kedzie was coming back from a loss in her last fight, a close decision loss to Alexis Davis on the Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson card in Chicago.

The severity of Kedzie’s injury is unknown at this time, but she will not be ready in time for the Sept 23 bout with De Randamie.

The search is underway for a replacement, but at this time nothing has been offered to another fighter.
