Josh Hill-Mike Adams Bantamweight Title Eliminator to Co-Headline WSOF Canada 2

A title shot will be on the line when Canadian bantamweights Josh Hill and Mike Adams tangle in the co-main event of WSOF Canada 2.

World Series of Fighting officials Monday announced that Hill and Adams will square off in a title eliminator June 7 at Edmonton Expo Center in Edmonton, Alberta. The winner will earn the right to vie for the vacant WSOF Canada bantamweight belt later this year.

The Las Vegas-based promotion’s second trip to Canada is headlined by local favorite and WSOF Canada welterweight champ Ryan Ford, who is set to meet Bristol Marunde in a non-title affair.

Hill hails from Stoney Creek, Ontario, and holds a perfect professional record of 9-0. “The Gentleman” has not competed in an official bout since August 2012, though he suffered a decision loss in an exhibition fight with Mike Wootten last year as a contestant on “The Ultimate Fighter 18.”

Adams last entered the cage in March 2013, when he was submitted by Curtis Brigham via fourth-round armbar in a bid for the Aggression Fighting Championship bantamweight title. The Kelowna, B.C., native began his career with a 5-0 run, including a win over former MFC champ Graham Spencer.
