Featherweights Joachim Hansen and Doo Won Seo will rematch in the main event of Road FC 15 on May 10, when the Korean promotion returns to Wonju with a show at the Chiak Indoor Gymnasium.
The two first fought at Road FC 11. Hansen (23-11-1) won with a second-round arm triangle choke, but only after being saved by the bell when he was on the verge of tapping to a guillotine choke at the end of the opening round.
Seo (9-7) has been granted an immediate rematch against the former Dream lightweight champion and will be looking for his first victory in nearly two years after seeing a six-fight winning streak snapped by last April’s loss to Hansen.
The card also sees the return of Riki Fukuda (20-7) who will be fighting for Road FC for the second time when he takes on Hyae Suk Son (4-5) in a middleweight match-up, which the UFC veteran will be expected to win comfortably.
Another recently released UFC fighter will also be taking on a local favorite at Road FC 15 when Issei Tamura (7-5) goes up against former ONE FC 135-pound champion Soo Chul Kim (8-5), who is coming off an impressive stoppage victory over Motonobu Tezuka.
The fourth match-up to have been revealed by the Korean promotion sees a man with 59 wins take on an opponent with just one victory to his name when veteran Ikuhisa Minowa (59-35-8) looks to continue his good run of recent form against journeyman Jung Gyo Park (1-5).
