A battle of strikers will go down at UFC on Fuel 7 in England as British knockout artist Jimi Manuwa returns to face Cyrille Diabate on the card.
UFC officials announced the new fight on Friday.
With a perfect 12-0 record, Jimi Manuwa famously turned down two previous offers from the UFC because he didn’t feel he was quite ready for an Octagon debut.
When the time was right however, Manuwa signed and proceeded to blast former Ultimate Fighter competitor Kyle Kingsbury with strikes to win in his UFC debut.
Now the British banger will face off with another top striker, and one of the tallest competitors at light heavyweight.
Frenchman Cyrille Diabate has looked for a consistent streak since coming to the UFC, but lately he’s started to find his stride with two wins in a row.
Now Diabate will travel to England to face one of the most explosive fighters in the sport when he faces Manuwa as he looks for his third consecutive victory.
