Jessica Eye and Bethe Correia feud on Twitter – with threats of ingesting toe hair

A brief Twitter feud between UFC bantamweights Jessica Eye and Bethe Correia entered strange territory overnight.

Eye (11-4 MMA, 1-3 UFC), ranked No. 10 in the MMAjunkie/USA TODAY Sports MMA women’s bantamweight rankings, and No. 13-ranked Correia (9-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) are both looking for a fight.

Eye is stuck in a two-fight skid following defeats to Miesha Tate and Julianna Pena, and Correia hasn’t fought since a title loss to then-champ Ronda Rousey this past August.

When Eye seemed to stump for a matchup with her Brazilian counterpart, Correia fired back with a weird insult about toe hair (via Twitter):

Foot follicles aside, the matchup seems to make sense from a ranking and scheduling perspective. And the matchup currently has some heat, as strange as it may be.
