Jackson’s MMA Auctions Signed Ring Bell for Children of Fallen Soldiers Fund

The fight community has always given back when it comes to charity, and this time around it’s the team at Jackson’s MMA that are doing a promotion to support the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund.

The team from New Mexico has a signed ring bell they are auctioning off on eBay with signatures from all of the pros at the gym, with all of the proceeds going to charity.

“Starting Friday, May 20th we are going to be auctioning off a full sized ring bell, we came up with the idea we should have all the guys sign it. We weren’t really in a hurry to have all the guys sign it quickly, we really didn’t know the direction we were going to go with it, until we did it,” Jackson’s MMA general manager Ricky Kottenstette told MMAWeekly Radio.

“We basically parked it in the office and every fighter that came through for whichever camp it was from Georges St-Pierre, Nate Marquardt, Gina Carano, Jon Jones, Rashad Evans, Keith Jardine, Cub Swanson, Donald Cerrone, Leonard Garcia, Joe Stevenson, Clay Guida, the list is just enormous of the people who just signed this bell.”

The signed bell features fighters from the UFC and Strikeforce all coming together to work for a common goal of supporting the Children of Fallen Soldiers Fund.

“What we decided to do, we do things periodically in the community, and this will be our first big national auction that we’re going to do. We’ve selected the children of the Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund, which is a great charity that basically helps kids and mothers or fathers that have lost their spouse in combat,” Kottenstette said.

The ringbell is accompanied by a list of the fighters who signed the bell along with their hand printed names for authenticity.

100% of the auction‘s proceeds will go to the Children of Fallen Soldiers Fund.

The auction is on eBay now and will run for the next week.
