Light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier previews the UFC on FOX 29 middleweight bout between Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori.
The undefeated Adesanya (12-0) made his promotional debut at UFC 221 in February and earned a Performance of the Night bonus for his knockout win over Rob Wilkinson. Adesanya hopes to remain unbeaten and continue his rise up the 185-pound rankings in his second Octagon appearance on Saturday.
Vettori (12-3-1) fought Omari Akhmedov to a draw in his last outing in December. Saturday will mark his fifth fight in the UFC. He plans to hand Adesanya his first career loss and make a statement in the middleweight division.
UFC on FOX 29 takes place at Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona and is headlined by a lightweight bout between contenders Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje.
