Ian McCall and Demetrious Johnson will try one more time, but it will be a week later than originally expected.
On Tuesday, the UFC announced that the Johnson vs. McCall 2 fight that was rumored for the Ultimate Fighter Live finale card will actually be bumped back a week and take place at the UFC on FX 3 card instead.
The UFC on FX 3 card is expected to take place on June 8, although a location and venue have yet to be announced for the fight.
The destination for the UFC on FX 3 card will be determined by the promotion’s ongoing contest with Harley-Davidson in the ‘Hometown Throwdown’.
Also added to the UFC on FX 3 card will be a bantamweight showdown between former Ultimate Fighter season 14 fighter Dustin Pague and Jared Papazian.
Papazian made his debut at the UFC on FX 1 card in January where he lost a decision to Mike Easton. Meanwhile, Pague was knocked out by former housemate John Albert at the TUF 14 finale last December.
