Xtreme Fighting Championship returns next month for “XFC 26: Night of Champions III” in Nashville.
The card, featuring a previously announced title fight doubleheader, now is complete with 10 additional fights. Already announced for the show is a lightweight title fight between champion Scott Holtzman and Roger Carroll, plus a title bout for the promotion’s inaugural women’s flyweight title between Cortney Casey and Pearl Gonzalez.
XFC 26 takes place Oct. 18 at Nashvllle Municipal Auditorium. The six-fight main card will air live on AXS TV.
Along with the two title fights, the AXS TV card will include a featherweight bout between Jason Hicks (5-1) and Deivison Ribeiro (23-9), whose fight will determine who will meet Farkhad Sharipov for the promotion’s 145-pound title next year. Hicks looks to get back in the win column after a loss to Holtzman in February. In June, Ribeiro got back on track following a two-fight skid.
Mauricio Alonso (9-4) takes on fellow Brazilian Luis Santos (53-9) in a welterweight bout. Alonso is riding a four-fight winning streak, while WEC and Bellator vet “Sapo” Santos has won three straight. Heather Jo Clark (5-4) takes on Brianna Van Buren (1-1) in a women’s strawweight fight, and the winner could put herself in line to fight new champ Stephanie Eggink.
And opening the card, a pair of Tennessee-based fighters will kick off the AXS TV portion when Luke Sanders (4-0) and Zach Underwood (11-4) meet in a featherweight bout.
With the additions, the XFC 26 card now includes:
