Headlined by a heavyweight main event between two-time UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia and “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 10 alum Abe Wagner, TFC 16 will take place Friday, Jan. 28, at Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kan.
Baroni, who recently signed a multi-fight deal with Titan following his release from the UFC, will compete at TFC 17, which goes down March 25. Also scheduled to appear is Titan FC CEO Joe Kelly, who will make an announcement regarding TFC 17.
Baroni was cut by the UFC after suffering back-to-back losses in his second run with the promotion. Most recently, the hard-punching American was knocked out by up-and-coming middleweight Brad Tavares at UFC 125.
TFC 16 will be broadcast live on HDNet at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT and will also feature a welterweight scrap between Dream veteran Jason High and Rudy Bears. Additionally, former UFC talents Rich Clementi and Drew McFedries will square off with Aaron Derrow and Gary Tapusoa, respectively.
