Friday's ONE FC 8 card set, Boku-Aoki title fight headlines online PPV

As a reminder, “ONE FC 8: Kings and Champions” takes place Friday, and the fight card is set for the event, which is available worldwide via online pay-per-view.

Following two free prelims, the main card is available for $9.99. The stream begins at 7 a.m. ET/4 a.m. PT (7 p.m. SGT local time).

As previously announced, a lightweight notable returns to action as former DREAM champion Shinya Aoki (32-6) takes on current ONE FC lightweight titleholder Kotetsu Boku (20-7-2).

Boku, who won the title after defeating Zorobabel Moreira in come-from-behind fashion back in October, looks for his seventh win in eight fights when he meets Aoki, who’s currently ranked No. 11 in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie.com MMA lightweight rankings.

Also on the card, former UFC and WEC competitor Brock Larson (36-7) meets middleweight and fellow big-show vet Melvin Manhoef (27-9-1) in the co-headliner. The ONE FC world bantamweight grand prix also continues with the semifinal round: Jens Pulver (27-17-1) vs. Masakatsu Ueda (16-2-2) and Kevin Belingon (10-2) vs. Thanh Vu (3-1). Two of the fighters will meet in the tournament final later this year, and the winner gets a shot at the title, which Soo Chul Kim currently holds.
