Friday's UFC Fight Night 102 lineup set with 12 bouts on Fight Pass in Albany

The UFC returns to New York on Friday for the second time in less than a month, and the lineup now is official.

UFC Fight Night 102 heads out of New York City and up to the state capital of Albany, where UFC fighters and executives for years tirelessly campaigned with state lawmakers to work toward passage of legislation to legalize MMA in New York. Now that sanctioned MMA in New York is a reality, the UFC will bring its show to fans upstate.

UFC Fight Night 102 takes place Friday at Times Union Center in Albany, N.Y. The entire card streams on UFC Fight Pass.

In the headliner, Derrick Lewis (16-4 MMA, 7-2 UFC) goes after a perfect 4-0 calendar year when he takes on fellow heavyweight Shamil Abdurakhimov (17-3 MMA, 2-1 UFC), from Russia, who has a pair of wins in 2016.

In the co-main event, another paif of heavyweights will clash when Anthony Hamilton (15-5 MMA, 3-3 UFC) takes on Francis Ngannou (8-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC). Also on the main card, Corey Anderson (8-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) meets Sean O'Connell (17-8 MMA, 2-4 UFC) at light heavyweight, and fellow 205er Gian Villante (14-7 MMA, 4-3 UFC) opens the main card in his home state against short-notice newcomer Saparbek Safarov (8-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC).

The featured bout on the preliminary card, also on UFC Fight Pass, is a women’s strawweight fight between Justine Kish (5-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) vs. Ashley Yoder (5-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC). Strawweights also open up the event when J.J. Aldrich (4-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) makes her promotional debut against Juliana Lima (8-3 MMA, 2-2 UFC). And New York-based Randy Brown (8-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) meets Brian Camozzi (7-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC) in a welterweight bout, as well.
