Felice HerrigFormer stable mates now rivals meet at Bellator 84 as Felice Herrig faces Michele Gutierrez as well as the featherweight and heavyweight finals taking place.

The show goes down in Hammond, Indiana at the Horseshoe Casino.

Herrig and Gutierrez square off after being teammates and friends under the same management group for several years, but a recent split saw their partnership and friendship come to an end.

Now it appears Herrig is looking for some payback while looking for a second win over Gutierrez. The two ladies have met before in 2009 with Herrig submitting Gutierrez by 2nd round armbar.

“We used to have the same management and were put in many situations to work together,” said Herrig. “I honestly gave it my best effort to be friends with her but her unethical practices as a fighter and in business directly impacted me.

“Fighting Michele again really does nothing for my career other than it gives me a chance to shut her mouth once and for all. It’s time for her to put her money where her mouth is.”

The two rivals head to Bellator 84 to settle their differences.

Also on the card, the finals of the Bellator featherweight and heavyweight tournaments will take place in the season 7 finale and final show on MTV2.

Following the Dec 14 card, Bellator will await their Spike TV debut in January, 2013.
