Ahead of next month’s big UFC 178 pay-per-view, fans are invited to today’s “Ultimate Media Day” featuring four of the event’s big names.
Light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, challenger Daniel Cormier and featherweights Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier will be on hand at MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas for a special press tour in advance of the ticket on-sale date for the event.

Tickets for UFC 178, which takes place Sept. 27 at MGM Grand Garden Arena, go on sale Friday to the general public, Thursday to UFC e-newsletter subscribers, and Wednesday to members of the UFC Fight Club. Tickets, which are available at Ticketmaster.com, start at $78, plus fees, for the cheap seats and go up to $803 plus fees for a cageside/floor spot.
