A lightweight bout has been added to the growing The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale. It pits an American against a Canadian.
UFC officials announced on Thursday that Evan Dunham would face Mark Bocek on the April 16 fight card in Quebec City.
Bocek (11-5) has been out of action for more than a year. He last competed on Nov. 17, 2012, losing to Rafael dos Anjos by unanimous decision. He was scheduled to fight Michel Prazeres at UFC 165 in September 2013, but withdrew from the bout due to injury.
Dunham (14-5) fought three times in 2013, going 1-2. He will be looking to rebound from back-to-back losses to dos Anjos and Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone.
The Ultimate Fighter Nations: Team Canada vs. Team Australia Finale takes place at the Colisee Pepsi in Quebec City, Quebec, on April 16. TUF Nations coaches Patrick Cote and Kyle Noke will meet in the card’s main event. The TUF Nations welterweight and middleweight finals will be settled on the fight card as well.
