Eddie Ng vs. Peter Davis and Tatsuya Mizuno vs. Rafael Silva Added to One FC: Total Domination

Eddie NgTwo more match-ups were added to the ONE FC: Total Domination fight card on Wednesday. Fan favorites Eddie Ng and Peter Davis go head to head in a lightweight clash and veterans Tatsuya Mizuno and Rafael Silva meet in the middleweight division.

The event is set for the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Oct. 18 and will be headlined by a bantamweight unification bout between reigning champion Soo Chul Kim and interim champion Bibiano Fernandes.

Ng (6-1) hails from Hong Kong and is one of the fastest rising stars in the 155-pound division, having finished three opponents out of three during his ONE FC career. Davis (6-2) saw a five-fight winning streak snapped by a loss to Ariel Sexton earlier this year.

Fighting out of the famous Evolve MMA camp in Singapore, Ng’s last two wins have been against Davis’ teammates, so the Malaysian will be looking to exact some revenge. Both fighters have a big fan following and the winner will potentially be in line for a shot at the ONE FC lightweight belt, which is currently held by Shinya Aoki.

Although Aoki also fights out of Evolve MMA, he is looking to drop down to featherweight, which would open up the possibility of Ng fighting for his title with the likes of Lowen Tynanes, Kamal Shalorus, and Caros Fodor also in contention.

Mizuno (11-9) is a Dream and Pancrase veteran who made his ONE FC debut last year when he was submitted by Renato “Babalu” Sobral in Kuala Lumpur. He is dropping down to middleweight to take on Rafael Silva (39-13), who is a Portuguese submission specialist on a seven-fight winning streak.

Aoki also tweeted recently that he expects to return in October, which would make for a star-studded card. Before that Asia’s biggest MMA promotion heads to Jakarta for ONE FC: Champions & Warriors on Sept. 13 with further cards in Manila, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore reportedly booked before the end of the year.

ONE FC: Total Domination will be shown live all over Asia on STAR Sports and fans from around the world can witness the action online via live streaming at www.onefc.livesport.tv. The undercard fights are available for viewing free-of-charge and the main card fights will be available for purchase at US$9.99.
