The Ultimate Fighting Championship on Wednesday announced another new bout for UFC on Fuel TV 5 (aka UFC: Nottingham), adding one of the most popular Brits on the planet to the fight card in Dan Hardy.
Hardy will square off with Ultimate Fighter 7 winner Amir Sadollah.
Recently rebounding from a four-fight losing streak, Hardy (24-10) secured his tenure with a first-round knockout victory over Duane “Bang” Ludwig, a fighter that Hardy has considered “a bit of a hero.” Ludwig will also be fighting on the Nottingham card.
Sadollah (6-3) followed up a loss to Ludwig with a recent victory over Jorge Lopez at UFC on Fuel TV 3 in May.
Sadollah made his way into the Octagon via The Ultimate Fighter and is one of a rare breed that has only fought in the UFC, which is highly uncommon in the modern generation of fighters.
A heavyweight battle between heavyweight Stefan Struve and Stipe Miocic headlines UFC on Fuel TV 5 on Sept. 29 at Capital FM Arena in Nottingham, England.
