CES 31 video highlights with four first-round stoppages, including welterweight title fight

Friday’s CES 31 event featured six main-card fights and five finishes, including four in the first round.

CES 31 took place in Lincoln, R.I., with a main card on AXS TV. Check out the highlights above to see four of the best finishes.

They include the main event in which Gil de Freitas (18-5) tapped out Chip Moraza-Pollard (10-9) with a kneebar in the first round to win the vacant welterweight title, and the co-feature, which saw Daniel Vizcaya (9-3) upset Chuck O’Neil (15-8) with a first-round rear-naked choke.

Additionally, bantamweight Kody Nordby (5-3) picked up a rear-naked choke win over Dinis Paiva (7-6) and Greg Rebello (19-6) knocked out Mike Mucitelli (7-3) in the first.
