Fresh off of his victory over Cezar Ferreira this past weekend in Natal, Brazil, CB Dollaway has already agreed to his next fight.
Dollaway will square off with Francis Carmont in the UFC Berlin co-main event on May 31 at the O2 World in Berlin. UFC officials announced the bout on Friday.
After defeating Ferreira, Dollaway (14-5) felt he should be on a four-fight winning streak, but in reality, according to the judges, he lost a split decision to Tim Boetsch in the fight just before Ferreira.
Either way, Dollaway is back in the thick of things, as the fight with Carmont will mark consecutive co-main event stints after he and Boetsch headlined the FOX Sports 1 preliminary telecast for UFC 166.
Carmont (22-8) is looking to bounce back following the first loss of his UFC career. After winning six consecutive fights in the Octagon, he lost to Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza in February.
He’ll be without one of his key training partners, however, as former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre has been sidelined with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
A five-round non-title bout between Gegard Mousasi and Mark Munoz headlines UFC Berlin.
