Recent Bellator acquisition Paul Daley also came in on point for his promotional debut, weighing 170.25 pounds ahead of his clash with Rudy Bears (169.5).
In addition to that pair of welterweight confrontations, the event will also showcase the semifinals of the promotion's light heavyweight Summer Series tournament. On one side of the bracket, Slovakian finisher Attila Vegh (204.5) will lock horns with MFC veteran Emanuel Newton (204.75), while the remaining semifinal will see Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Tim Carpenter (205) take on10-year pro Travis Wiuff (206). Rounding out the televised card will be a welterweight rubber match pitting former Dream champion Marius Zaromskis (171) against durable veteran Waachiim Spiritwolf (170.75).
