Brock Lesnar Plans to Unify UFC and WWE Titles? (Video)

The rumors of a Brock Lesnar leaving the WWE to return to the UFC have been swirling for months now, but Lesnar went on WWE’s Monday Night RAW this week to clear the air… sort of.

His handler… Paul Heyman… did all the talking, and forewarned that nobody was going to push Lesnar around, not the WWE or anyone else, and that Lesnar might just opt not to give up his WWE, but still regain the UFC belt he once held.

“If Brock Lesnar wants to spend his summer unifying the WWE and UFC titles, that’s what he’s gonna do. This title no longer belongs to WWE, this title belongs to Brock Lesnar,” declared Heyman.

So are we going to see Lesnar back in the Octagon alongside the WWE’s ropes? Not likely.

More likely than not, Lesnar was using the UFC chatter to sweeten the deal on a new WWE contract. His current contract was supposed to reach end-of-life later this month.

His throwing down the gauntlet on RAW was probably more telling to the end that he’s probably got the offer he wanted from the WWE and is playing up the latest angle in his pro rasslin’ storyline.

But who knows, maybe we’ll soon be seeing Dana White and Cain Velasquez on RAW getting cold-cocked by Lesnar and Friends, Heyman snatching up the belt, and wrapping it around Vince McMahon’s waist.
