Ahead of Bellator 106, the organization’s first event on pay-per-view, Spike TV tonight debuts the first of a three-part series focused on event headliner Quinton Jackson.
The show follows “Rampage” (32-11 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) ahead of his bout with fellow ex-UFC champ Tito Ortiz (16-11-1 MMA, 0-0 BMMA). The light heavyweights fight Nov. 2 at Long Beach Arena in California.
The half-hour unscripted show, “Rampage4Real,” airs tonight at 11 p.m. ET/PT. Part 2 debuts Oct. 24, and Part 3 is slated for Oct. 31.
According to Spike TV: “Before training starts, ‘Rampage’ tries to get in the last of his partying. Watch as he lives the rock star life style with his entourage, before he attempts to start getting back into shape.”
Jackson left the UFC following a loss to Glover Teixeira in January. It marked the 35-year-old’s third straight defeat after a legendary career that included star status in PRIDE and an eventual UFC title in 2007. He and Ortiz headline a Bellator card that also includes three title fights.
