Bellator's champ Daniel Straus shares surgery pics (warning: they're very, very graphic)

You should look at Bellator champ Daniel Straus’ Instagram account only if you’re not currently eating.

The Bellator featherweight champ recently underwent hand surgery, and even had someone take video while he was under so he would remember it.

For some fans who watch, the images might be hard to forget.

“If u have a weak stomach id keep scrolling,” Straus aptly warns fans on his Instagram account, where he posted a picture and a pair of videos:

Yesterday's operation was a success thanks to Dr. Stidham. So what we got here is a titanium plate with 6 screws. Got a couple videos coming your way so if u have a weak stomach id keep scrolling

A titanium plate and six screws now hold together Straus’ left hand, which undoubtedly will make it harder for the 31-year-old champ to break it. This past November, he fought through a shattered metacarpal to re-capture the featherweight title he lost in March 2014.

At Bellator 145, Straus (25-6 MMA, 11-3 BMMA) also picked up his first win over Brazilian Patricio “Pitbull” Freire (24-3 MMA, 12-3 BMMA), who’d denied his first attempt to win back gold in January 2015. The champ has been on the shelf since his title win.
