Bellator 74 kicked off Season 7 with the welterweight tournament quarterfinals on Friday night.

Former welterweight champion Lyman Good utilized his superior striking to get the unanimous decision nod over Jim Wallhead. In a battle of two strikers, Marius Zaromskis reigned supreme over Nordine Taleb. Bellator newcomer Michail Tsarev was impressive in his debut, submitting Tim Welch in the second round. Undefeated Russian prospect Andrey Koreshkov kept his perfect record intact with a decision win over Jordan Smith.
