Bellator 169 weigh-in results: Headliners 'King Mo' Lawal (213 pounds), Satoshi Ishii (236.6) on weight


The main-event fighters are set for Friday’s Bellator 169 show after today successfully making weight.

Bellator 169 takes place at 3Arena in Dublin. The main card airs on Spike (via same-day tape delay).

In the Irish headliner, veteran light heavyweight Muhammed Lawal (19-5 MMA, 8-4 BMMA) returns to heavyweight for a fight with Satoshi Ishii (14-6-1 MMA, 0-1 BMMA). Lawal weighed 213 pounds, and Ishii was 236.6.

A bantamweight bout between Shay Walsh (14-4 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) and Luiz Tosta (9-2-1 MMA, 0-0-1 BMMA was scrapped due to an injury. As a result, featherweights Cameron Else (3-3 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) and Dylan Tuke  (3-0 MMA, 0-0 BMMA), who respectively weighed 145.2 and 144.6, have been promoted to the main card, a Bellator official told MMAjunkie.
