Bellator 142 Dynamite, a hybrid showcase of mixed martial arts and Glory kickboxing, is scheduled for Saturday, September 19.
The event is characterized not only by its novel merger of two combat sports but also by the reintroduction of a one-night tournament format, reminiscent of the early days of MMA.
Tonight's tournament features four light heavyweights competing to determine the division's No. 1 contender. Those two bouts, along with with a 205-pound-title tilt to determine the champion who will meet the tournament winner, serve as the focal points of the Bellator 142 Dynamite main card.
