The 24 fighters participating on the Bellator 131: Tito vs. Bonnar fight card officially weighed in on Friday in San Diego. Former UFC light heavyweight titleholder Tito Ortiz takes on Stephan Bonnar in a grudge match in the main event.
“I talked an awful lot of smack, not it’s time to back it up,” said Bonnar after making weight. “I’m going to put on a show. I promise.”
“I’m ready for a war. I’m ready to put on a show for every body. I’m in shape. You better be in shape partner,” said Ortiz. “It’s going to be a fight.”
Will Brooks puts his lightweight title on the line against the man he took it from, Michael Chandler, in the co-main event.
“I sure am the best I’ve ever been. San Diego, get ready for a show tomorrow night,” said Chandler after stepping off the scales.
“I’ve worked my ass off to get to where I am today, and nobody is going to take it. I’ve sacrificed too much. I put the time in. I’ve survived too much, and Chandler ain’t got what it takes to take it from me,” said Brooks.
