The 28 fighters participating on the inaugural Bellator MMA pay-per-view on Saturday officially weighed in on Friday.
The Bellator 120 roster is headlined by a grudge match between former UFC champ Rampage Jackson and former Strikeforce titleholder King Mo Lawal, as well as an interim lightweight championship pitting former champion Michael Chandler against tournament winner Will Brooks .
Lawal didn’t have much to say after stepping on the scales. ”The talk is done,” he said.
Jackson promised victory. ”I didn’t train to beat Mo. I trained to destroy him,” said Jackson. ”He ain’t going last long in that cage tomorrow. That’s all I’ve got to say.”
