Emanating from the Mayfield Inn Trade and Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, MFC 32 features a lightweight title scrap between Brian Cobb and Antonio McKee, as well as a five-round light heavyweight affair pitting UFC veteran Wilson Gouveia against MFC staple Dwayne Lewis.
An additional pair of welterweight matchups is also slated for the event, as Diego Bautista faces Ryan McGillivray while Jamie Toney locks horns with Cody Krahn. Airing live on HDNet, the event will also showcase a 155-pound scrap featuring Adam Lynn and Mukai Maromo.
Carvalho recently had an eight-fight winning streak snapped by Dream welterweight champion Marius Zaromskis on Nov. 26, a knockout defeat which the Brazilian is currently protesting. Prior to that loss, “BC” had not lost since 2008, when he was edged in a split decision by Magomed Sultanakhmedov.
Lima has yet to taste defeat in six pro outings. The younger brother of former MFC champion and current Bellator talent Douglas Lima, the 21-year-old has finished each of his victims by either knockout or submission. The welterweight prospect was last seen in June at MFC 30, where he knocked out Toney in just 2:47.
