Anastasia Yankova's grappling coach predicted her first-round win at Bellator 152

TURIN, Italy – Anastasia Yankova remained perfect as a professional at Bellator 152, scoring a first-round armbar submission of Anjela Pink.

Making the moment even better for Yankova (3-0 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) was the fact her grappling coach called the flyweight’s shot.

“Right before I left Thailand, my grappling coach told me I would win in the first round with a submission and it just came true,” Yankova told MMAjunkie following her victory on the Spike-televised main card from Pala Alpitour in Turin, Italy.

Yankova’s three fights to date have lasted a combined 9:32. All three have ended by submission.

With many “star” qualities and a relatively easy first bout for the promotion, Bellator may look to bring the 25-year-old back to the cage for a quick turnaround.

Yankova said she simply needs a little time to unwind from the bout before she takes another fight.

“The fight wasn’t long, so I have no injuries,” Yankova said. “The camp was a lot harder than the fight itself. Once I calm down and am not so emotional and excited I’ll try to figure out my next fight.”
