It has been quite some time since UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo has seen the inside of the Octagon.
But he will return Saturday night at UFC 156 to put his belt on the line against former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar in what is being billed as a superfight.
Aldo, giving all due respect to his competitor, believes that theirs is a true superfight and that he’s more than ready for it.
Despite not having fought in a little over a year, the champ has kept himself busy by what else, but trying to get better.
“My job is training. My job is fighting,” he told MMAWeekly.com. “So I kept myself busy training, training, training.”
