The UFC officially announced two new additions to UFC 124 on Thursday. Jim Miller will face young gun Charles Oliveira in a lightweight clash, and Jim's older brother Dan Miller will meet veteran Joe Doerksen when the UFC returns to the Bell Centre in Montreal on Dec. 11.

A black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, the younger Miller has won five straight bouts inside the Octagon and is a near-perfect 7-1 in the promotion. He holds victories over Mac Danzig, Mark Bocek and Duane Ludwig and is most recently coming off a unanimous decision victory over powerful Brazilian Gleison Tibau at UFC Fight Night in September. Miller made his promotional debut at UFC 89 in Birmingham, England, winning “submission of the night” by choking out Frenchman David Baron in the third round.

Oliveira made a big impression in his first appearance in the UFC cage, armbarring Darren Elkins in just 41 seconds to win “submission of the night” at UFC Live in August. A little over a month later, the Brazilian once again earned that honor by coming back from a low blow to choke out “TUF” season eight winner Efrain Escudero at UFC Fight Night on Sept. 15. Undefeated in his professional career, Oliveira, 20, holds all but one of his victories by either knockout or submission.

Like his sibling, Dan Miller is also a BJJ black belt. But unlike his younger brother, Miller has not won his last five bouts. In fact, he's lost three of his last four. It should be noted, however, that those losses came to Chael Sonnen, Demian Maia and Michael Bisping. Miller's last outing resulted in victory, as he used a ninja choke to end John Salter's night midway through round two.

Doerksen is a member off MMA's old guard, having begun his career in 1999. The Canadian has 59 fights to his credit and has competed all over the world. He's performed multiple stints with the UFC and has fought in the IFL, Sengoku, DEEP and the WEC. He even challenged for the latter organization's middleweight title in 2007, losing to Paulo Filho by TKO in round one. Recently, Doerksen had strung together a seven-fight winning streak before running into up-and-comer C.B. Dollaway at UFC 119 in September.

The two bouts join four previously announced contests on a card that will be headlined by welterweight king Georges St. Pierre, as he defends his belt against fellow “TUF” season 12 coach Josh Koscheck in a rematch of their St. Pierre-dominated 2007 scrap.
