'UFC Fight Night 99 and 100: On the Ground,' No. 2: Odd interviews and odd face-offs abound

BELFAST/SAO PAULO – The UFC is doubling up on Saturday with shows in Northern Ireland and Brazil, and MMAjunkie is “On the Ground” in both locales.

Today in Belfast, where UFC Fight Night 99 takes place at SSE Arena Belfast and streams on UFC Fight Pass, MMAjunkie caught up with headliner Uriah Hall (12-7 MMA, 5-5 UFC), who faces Gegard Mousasi (40-6-2 MMA, 7-3 UFC) in a rematch of Hall’s shocking upset at UFC Fight Night 75.

Hall seemed less then thrilled to be speaking with MMAjunkie’s Mike Bohn.

Meanwhile, in Sao Paulo, Fernanda Prates caught up with underdog Cortney Casey (6-3 MMA, 2-2 UFC), who still seems confident ahead of her bout with onetime UFC strawweight title challenger Claudia Gadelha (13-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC). John Morgan spoke to Kamaru Usman (8-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC), who’s looking far up the UFC welterweight ladder should he score a win over Warlley Alves (10-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC).
