The fighters went toe-to-toe in back and forth exchanges multiple times throughout the first round with each hurting the other. Heredia escaped and came to standning but Cavn again scored a takedown and this time after securing back control with both hooks in he flurried with GNP to get the TKO win at 2:56 of round two.
