GSP said he was asking for a very reasonable amount of money but he and the UFC could not come to a deal. Lorenzo Fertitta and GSP were having good negotiation talks, but after the sale of the UFC to new ownership, negotiations went bad. GSP wanted to make his return at UFC 206 in Toronto. He will not be on it and the card is headlined by Daniel Cormier vs Anthony Johnson. If GSP still wants to compete, Bellator MMA will be one of the leading candidates to try and sign him they signed GSP's teammate Rory MacDonald in August.
