About the UFC contracts. I havent read any but I am sure that some fighters are allowed to participate in other tournaments. I think it just cannot be in an organization/tournament that would be deemed as a rival MMA org or something like that and probabily they cannot compete time-wise too close to the UFC fight because of possible injuries/overall condition and such.
I am sure Fedor would be allowed to compete in sambo, the problem as we all know was with the co-promotion clause that they kept insisting on.

wow verdum vs fedor. fedor is not challenged latley and will destroy verdum, strikeforce nd fedor are just keeping hes unbeaten record alive i think fedor could absolutley make it to the ufc heavywieght title but it would for sure be harder than strikefarce, let him fight the best not EX UFC FIGHTERS and the slugs in strikeforce hw division, i mean their up and comer is 2-0 ROGER GRACIE and as for the womens... u have 9-1 CYBORG fighting a 8-7 finney lmao
