All you casual ''MMA'' fans should take a step back and look at the history of MMA. NO Dana White and Joe Silva did'nt start the UFC but what they did was take the original cage fighting sport and turn it into a world-wide f-cking phenomenon! MMA came along before the UFC but Dana and Joe put millions into turning MMA into a global sport......fact. Strikeforce are picking the scraps from the UFC and trying to make a pound note from old fighters who can't compete in the UFC anymore. Do'nt try and tell me that Strikeforce did'nt let mayhem into the cage to wind up sheilds on possibly his last fight! Are we all that gullible????????

he's right. it was'nt mayhem's fault though, first of all it was the owners fault and then gilbert and nick should NOT have even touched mayhem. it's THEIR fault. and Dana is totally right about when they let shields' contract run out and had a bunch of money in Dan Henderson's contract. i like hendo but it's true.
