Zac Chavez vs. Jarred Mercado in a 145 lb. title fight. The fight hit the mat almost immediately by way of a Mercado takedown and on the mat Mercado worked GNP until there was a long scramble with both fighters trying for submissions and scoring escapes. Mercado ended the round in side control working elbow strikes. Round two had an early Mercado takedown and all round he was able to control position and work GNP. Round three had Mercado landing several stinging punches before taking it to the mat where he controlled position and worked GNP until the bell ended the fight. The scorecards were read and the title winner by unanimous decision was Jarred Mercado.
