Interviews - Strikeforce - Fedor vs. Rogers - Shields, really a 170-pounder, is now the Strikeforce middleweight champ after being Jason "Mayhem" Miller. He calls out Cung Le during the postfight presser in Chicago. Why did Cung dump the belt and return on Dec. 19.

Sounds like Strikeforce said that he had to fight at this show or he'd lose his belt and he was making a movie so he said no. My guess would be that it was in his movie contract not to fight while they are shooting the movie which makes perfect sense. If he gets badly injured they'd have to prospone the whole movie.

So Cung's movie contract didn't allow him to fight on this card but he probably isn't happy about losing his belt and wants to get back in.

Jake has a point but he's being a baby about it. I don't know if he'd be able to get Cung to the ground, and Cung is a smarter fighter than Mayhem. It would be an interesting fight. But Cung giving up his belt and coming back a month later is kind of dumb.
