i really think alistair IS in the top 5 of heavyweights, just based on the fact that he's so dangerous with his striking and an ever improving powerful top game. on his back is his big weakness, then again, try getting him there. but i think he's a getting a bit cocky. he's getting alot of attention from the media and i hope he's not getting ahead of himself. He's going to beat werdum, i am very sure of that. probably by knees in the clinch or TKO via ground and pound after he dropped him or pushed him down. Stay weary though alistair. I really dont understand what the big fuss is about Overeem, he is a intelligent guy who is down to earth and it seems that the only reason people do not like him is because they "suspect" he is on sterioid. Like Matt0402 says is true, i would estimate that about one third of the fighters in the UFC take PED's but its just that the PED test are always one step behind the PED makers. He has been around a long time and there is no hard evidence that he is on any steroids and even if he is its not like he is the only heavyweight that take roids. So if you have a problem with Overeem either produce some evidence or shut up.

Agree it is commonly used in america (the continent) to tease, but it is quite explicit... "you are my son"... haha.. which means he not only looks down to the reem but that he pounded his moda... whatever, both fighters are great in their own fields...

"He's my son" is very disrespectful in Brasil and Argentina, is like saying "I owe you, I'm your superior" actually. It is indeed, a cultural thing.

I don't agree with him that all fighters are prob taking peds, however, it is likely that most of the top fighters are taking some type of performance enhancer. Chael getting caught, Carwin's name being found on the list of athletes getting steriods, Mir suddenly gaining 25 lbs. of muscle within 6 months (pretty much impossible to do naturally), etc. The ones who get caught are those who aren't smart in masking the use. Sad, but prob true. Granted, I'm speculating, but at least I'm honest that I'm just speculating, and thats what you and others are doing with Overeem, just speculation. Theres no hard evidence that hes on anything. Is he on something? Quite possibly, but as long as there is no hard facts, its just going to be speculation, and you should prob give it a rest.
