Interviews - Nick Diaz, water polo player? As strange as that may sound, the Strikeforce Welterweight champ once sought glory inside a swimming pool. Good thing that didnt work out, as Nick and his brother Nathan have become two of MMAs most popular -- and controversial fighters. In part 1 of this FIGHT! Life series, the Diaz boys take us back to their rough-and-tumble days of growing up in Stockton, America's fifth most dangerous city.

Stockton has ghettos like any other city. Growing up in Cali in the 80s-90s during the gang era was rough. Dudes had to be tough or you'd get tested. Stockton in the 80s-90s was a warzone....Blacks, Whites, Mexicans, Asians...everyone banged and had there own lil sets. real talk.

stockton isn't even on the list of the 25 most dangerous cities in america. its funny that these guys keep portraying their hometown as some horrible ghetto, and its worse that the media perpetuates that image. stockton is just a boring rural town out in the valley, full of white trash.
